| I got Dr.Howard to revise my poem! Now I'll just post it here so I can find it when I lose it.
With a pierced heart, and a dounting walk
He turned to the thing that he once loved
It was there
Buried in the earth
Songs were sung and memories told
Happy times and sad times arose
During which
He wept
The time had come for that one thing
A thing for which he made the time
One person
One life
So meaningful
Passing it around inside his mind again
"What does it mean to live"
"What does it mean to love"
"What does it mean to die"
All passed into his mind
Darkened clouds were overhead
Making it appear to be
A hell of darkness the loss of love
For which he wept
Alone waiting for life
Walking along his horrid path
Hoping to live once again
For now he was

The sun is falling
the light is fading
with darkness looming
I see you there
with your golden hair
all alone;
a spot of light
in the dark abyss
I know for once
I will not miss
Upon arrival, I see you here
smiling, without despair
beauty twisting the dark away
my heart is beating
my mind is numbing
my life is slowing
just to see you smile once more
The light returns
I'm all alone
I want to see your loving smile
I want to hear your joyous voice
I wish to witness your radiant beauty
But now I am
All alone
